The Wayset To Earn The Position Of Leader And Walk The Path Of Sageship

All levels of Leadership have a Responsibility that is Involved.

Within that Responsibility is a "Weight".

Many people describe it as Heavy.

A Burden.

A Strain.

Indeed, it can Feel like that as we Hold It.

The Weight Leaders Carry

For within the Role and Position of Leadership, we are Responsible for People.

Their Livelihoods.

Their Health.

Their Growth.

Their Potential.

It makes the Load of the Titan Atlas, who was Cursed to Carry the Cosmos, Appear Lighter than a Feather.

For the Cosmos is just Matter.

People are So Much More than that.

They Put their Hopes.

Their Dreams.

Their Pains.

Their Sufferings.

Upon Your Shoulders as a Leader, with the Hope that You Provide Something...

Anything...

That will Allow them to Live Well.

The Full Weight Of That Responsibility

This Weight can Feel Tremendously Worse when we are Called Out and Told that we Need to Step Up.

Especially when we Feel Overtaxed and Overburdened Already.

It is Enough to Crush Your Back into Dust.

Enough to Turn Your Brain into Mush.

Enough to Make You Question if it is Even Worth It.

Indeed, I have Watched Many Leaders Implode as the Responsibility Destroys Them.

Their Life Crumbles Around Them.

They become Caught in the Maelstrom of a Vicious Cycle.

It can become a Horrible and Terrible Place to be.

Especially as a Leader Carrying so much.

Especially when So Many Look to You.

The Weight Of More

Others sometimes Seem to have More Faith in You than You have in Yourself.

Their Belief in You can be Wonderous and Horrifying Simultaneously.

Wonderous in the Beauty in How They See Your Potential.

Horrifying in the Terror of Not Knowing if You Can, or are even Worthy, of Living Up to that Potential.

Then there are those who Want You to Carry More Responsibility.

Asking You...

Beseeching You...

It is Enough to Make You Wonder if "This" is the Straw that Breaks You.

How do we Rise to the Occasion though?

How can we Carry this Load as a Leader, and then Carry More in the Future?

Well, we turn to Sageship to Understand.

Understanding The Weight Of Responsibility

All Weight Works Similarly.

If I Give You a Rock and Ask You to Carry It...

What do you do?

Pick It Up.

Then if I ask you to Pick Up a Larger Rock?

You may need to Work Out.

Grow Your Muscles.

But eventually, you can become Strong Enough to Lift and Move Larger and Larger Rocks.

Boulders.

Mountains.

Yes, as Humans we have Indeed Learned how to Physically Move Mountains to Our Whims.

All Weight is Similar in this way.

We can Become Stronger to Lift More.

We can Become Smarter to Lift in New and Innovative Ways.

We can Become Wiser to Understand What Must be Lifted, and What can be Moved in Different Ways, or Moved Later, or Perhaps Needs Not to be Moved At All.

The Weight of Responsibility is No Different.

To Carry More Responsibility, We Must Become Stronger.

Smarter.

Wiser.

This is How We Earn the Position of Leader.

Growing so that We Can Carry That Responsibility with More Ease and Success.

However, there is a Step Beyond This.

Beyond The Leader

It is Great for You to Grow to Carry More Responsibility.

But You are a Single Person.

You will be Unable to Carry All the Weight of Responsibility that Is, Was, or Will Be.

The Sage has a Different Approach.

See, the Sage Recognizes that what they Carry Is Not People.

Rather, what is "Inside" of People.

Their Hopes.

Their Dreams.

Their Potential.

This is where the Weight of Responsibility Truly Exists.

Yet, the People Still Exist.

If you Allow them to Always Put Weight On You, then You become the Limiting Factor.

Growth can Only Occur as Much as You Grow.

But the Problem Here is that Everything Around You Will Decay.

With how Humans Work, if we are Not Growing, then We Are Decaying.

It is that Simple.

Stagnation Does Not Exist.

So the Sage goes to Cultivate.

Understanding The Power Of Sageship Cultivation

Yes, they Must Grow Themselves, and that is Non-Negotiable.

Especially As More People Will Seek them Out.

But, as this Occurs, the Sage will begin to Cultivate Others Around them.

So They can Carry Responsibilities.

So All Can Work Together, in Unity, to Grow to Greater Levels of Responsibility.

A Single Draft Horse can move 8,000 lbs.

Two Draft Horses can move 24,000 lbs.

Two Draft Horses Trained Together can move 32,000 lbs.

This is 4 Times More than the Single Draft Horse Alone.

But Training has been Shown to have its Limitations, which is Why 80% of Leadership Development Completely Fails (With "Limited" Success the Remainder).

There is something Beyond Training.

The Human Potential In Sageship Cultivation

Humans can go Further.

From Training to Cultivation.
