However, these are Simply Not Possible in Today's World, and to Understand a Part of the Reason Why, we must look more deeply into...
Blood.
Now, I know that sounds weird, but I'll get Why this is True shortly.
Before I get into the Blood Problem, let's look at the More "Obvious" Problem that Leaders Face...
Burnout.
The Burnout Problem
Over 80% of People are Currently in Burnout, and the Statistics have been getting worse, with some Reports saying as Terribly High as 85%.
Now, "What" is Burnout?
In the Simplest Terms, it is a Near-Constant State of Dis-Stress.
Now, what happens in our Brain when we are Under Dis-Stress?
Up to 70% of the Blood in the Frontal Lobe of our Brain Drains to our Peripheral Muscles.
Now, Why is this Important to Understand?
Well, first let's look at what the Frontal Lobe is Responsible for...
The Frontal Lobe’s Resposibilities
Executive Functions, including Planning, Organizing, Decision Making, Problem-Solving, Working Memory, Attention, and Impulse Control.
Language, including Speaking and Understanding Language.
Social and Emotional Regulation, including Empathy, Social Interaction, Personality Expression, Mood Control, and Self-Awareness.
Plus, there are other Functions, such as Creativity, Insight, Judgement, and Learning that occur in the Frontal Lobe.
As we can See, both Leaders and their Teams "Need" Access to all of these Functions for High Levels of Success.
But what about the Blood?
What is So Important about the Blood Specifically?
Our Blood’s Responsibility
Well, our Blood is a Transporter of many things...
Oxygen.
Nutrients.
Hormones.
Waste.
Now, what happens when Less Blood gets to the Brain?
The Brain’s Blood Problem
Oxygen and Nutrients are Significantly Cut Off from the Brain, which means...
Less Energy (Mg-ATP) is Created in the Brain.
This means Less Energy (Mg-ATP) is Available for the Brain Functions we've mentioned.
Hormones Fail to get Transported around the Body which can cause all sorts of Other Problems.
Waste has Less Opportunity to Get Transported "Out" of the Brain.
Basically, the Brain can become a Landfill.
Can you see how this Becomes Problematic for Leaders?
Now, when we Combine all of these Problems with the Fact that Most People, including Leaders themselves, are in Near-Constant States of Dis-Stress due to Burnout...
This means that "All" of the Parts of the Brain that are "Needed" for a Leader's Success, both Themselves and their Teams, are...
Constantly Malnourished.
Constantly Operating at a Fraction of their Potential.
Constantly Failing to get Hormones Where they are Necessary.
Constantly Filling Up with More Waste.
All of these can Create Chain Reactions of Problems for Leaders and their Teams.
Further Negative Chain Reactions
Not Only is Everyone "Blocked" from the List Mentioned at the Beginning of this Article...
But there are Also More Problems Created...
Healthy Brain Development and Learning are Burdened.
Metabolism and the Immune Response are Negatively Impacted.
Mood, Motivation, Sleep, and Pleasure are All Adversely Impacted.
Increased Oxidative Stress, or Stress Damage, which itself is "Also" a Stressor.
Since All Stress Adds, it makes us "Less" Capable to Handle Other and Newer Stressors.
What does this Do to the Workforce?

New Processes Fail to Get Established.
All of these Grim Results are because the Brain is Failing to get Enough Blood.
This Blood Problem which is Caused by Blood Flowing "Out" of the Brain due to Constant Dis-Stress.
Burnout.
This is "Why" Leaders Need to be Focused on Psychophysiology.
Failing to Understand "How" We Work as Humans, Prevents Us from Utilizing what makes Humans so Amazing.
