Two Horribly Painful Things That Frequently Stand In The Way Of Our Success
The Psychology Of Why They Actively Prevent Us From Achieving Our Potential
The Path to Success can be Littered with Obstacles and Challenges.
Some of them we Face on our Own.
Some of them we Face with Others.
Some of them we Face because of Others.
It can Feel Incredibly Difficult to make Progress to Success due to all of the Obstacles and Challenges that Rise Up.
The Two Ways We Faces The Obstacles And Challenges
Yet, some people seem to do it with a Seeming Ease.
The Obstacles and Challenges exist, but they seem to Dance and Dodge around them.
Like a Piece of Art.
The Strokes come together to make a Masterpiece.
But others seem to Sink and get Stuck in the Challenges and Obstacles.
Like attempting to walk through a Swamp.
Every step causes more Mud and Grime to Stick to their Shoes and Legs.
Each move becomes more Painful than the Last.
But how does this happen?
How is it that there is such a Difference between these two types of Individuals?
What causes the Gap to Grow?
Well, a large part of it has to do with our Psychology.
What Makes The Challenges And Obstacles More Difficult
Specifically, there are Two Types of Thoughts that Frequently Stand in the Way of our Success.
Judgements and Criticisms.
What makes these More Difficult is that they play out in a Multitude of Ways.
Now, the Obvious Way we tend to think about these is the Judgements and Criticisms of Others.
We see a Multitude of Behaviors and Ways People Live their Lives that we Disagree with.
We Judge their Behavior.
We Criticize their Lives.
We do it with our Teams.
Our Organizations.
Our Leaders.
Businesses do it with the Customers.
Parents do it with their Children.
It is Understandable and the Norm of what we see in the World.
The Worst Kind Of Judgements And Criticisms
But there is perhaps another form of Judgement and Criticism that is Equally, if not More, Damaging to our Success.
Self-Judgement and Self-Criticism.
We Know our Own Weaknesses, Faults, and Errors better than Anyone.
We Comdemn Ourselves.
We Call For Our Own Execution.
We Fall through the Neverending Cracks We See In Ourselves.
No Force Outside of Ourselves is a Harsher Judge or Critic.
Truly, We are Our Own Worst Enemies.
When we Inflict Judgements and Criticisms on Others, they Avoid Us.
Run Away from Us.
Flee from the Accusations.
Not just because we Fear those.
But More So because we Fear Ourselves and Our Own Self-Judge and Self-Critic becoming Empowered into a Tyrant with More Evidence from Outside Ourselves.
The Next Question becomes all the More Important though...
How is it that Some People seem to Maneuver Around the Judgements and Criticisms Unfazed?
It all has to do with our Psychology.
The Psychology Of How These Make Our Lives Horribly Painful
Our Brain works like an AI Search.
If you Tell It to Search for something, it will go and Look for As Much Evidence as Possible.
The More We Focus on that Search...
The More Evidence our Brains Will Find.
Continue to Ask and Focus Further, and our Brain will Hallucinate Answers that are Not True.
Our Brains will Create Hypothetical Situations where our Worst Judgements and Criticisms will Come to Life and Catastrophized.
According to the Research, 90% of our Thoughts, Worries, and Fears "Never" Come to Fruition.
That is a "Lot" of Hallucination.
Then, because Our Minds are So Deeply Focused on these Criticisms and Judgements...
That is also All that is "In" Our Mind.
So Inevitably, this is All We Do in the World.
We Crticize Others.
We Judge Others.
We Do Both to Ourselves.
In Turn, Others Return the Favor and Judge and Criticize Us.
They Feed Our Inner Critic and Judge with More Evidence to Use Against Us.
Our Brain Hallucinates More and Worse Scenarios where We are At Our Worst.
This Continues in a Vicious Cycle.
Until...
Creating A New Path Forward
We Break the Pattern.
Instead of Judging and Criticising...
We start to Look for the Positives In Ourselves and in Others.
Look to Praise and Cultivate Ourselves and Others.
We Change what the Brain Actively Searches For.
Then we can Create a Virtuous Cycle.
One that allows us to Masterfully Dance and Maneuver around the Challenges and Obstacles we Face.
Where we can Design our Own Masterpiece of Success.

Now, so far we have gone into the Psychology of Why this Happens.
But there is actually a Lot More to Consider.
Within Psychophysiology, we begin to Further See “Why” these Criticisms and Judgements are so Engrained in Us as Humans.
Through these, we can also begin to See and Understand…
That our Psychology is Not the Only Challenge we Face Here.
We have Three Other Triggers that can Also, Subconsciously, Begin the Vicious Cycle.
Before we’ve even Realized It, the Cycle has begun and is Negatively Impacting Us.
